Upcoming Symposium

Whether you are a parent, grandparent, scout leader, 4-H Leader, educator, or just someone who knows that a child's time in the garden is the hope for our future, you will benefit from attending the annual American Horticultural Society National Children & Youth Garden Symposium in Atlanta, Georgia. Co hosted-by the Atlanta Botanical Garden and Wonderland Gardens, the theme this year is "Making Connections."

Enjoy field trips, exhibits, speakers, and networking. I will be a keynote speaker to the entire group of attendees and look forward to meeting you in person and trying to help get more children involved in the magical world of the garden.

Check www.ahs.org for updates. For information write, Nancy Busick at youthprograms@ahs.org or call (703) 768-5700 extension 132.

p.s. I was invited to do the illustration for the poster for this event.
